Kudos to outgoing champions Phil & Bronco who put on a great Banquet Night for all 49 men in attendance last night. The duo also shocked the crowd by announcing they will be leaving the League as three time Champions to enjoy their retirement years and leaving the keys to their car in the capable hands of Andy Clemen who will pick his own teammates next year. Thanks again Bronco for all his hard work as Treasurer for the past several years.......Paul Lipinoga will be your President for next year assisted by John Kennis and Paul Link as reward for their heroics as League Champs. Mark Dotterwiech stepped forward and will be next years Treasurer. Keith Miranto will again serve as League Secretary and Webmaster...Our new Rules Committee will be Keith Hoppel, Matty Rusin, Ed Zebulske, Jimmy DiPalma and Dennis Wesolowski......The League trophy will be getting an upgrade in the off season so that all plates will be uniform, good work again by Bronco! We were honored by the appearances of former League Members Chuck Ramsay and Joe Bernas but sorry we missed Archie Hood and Joe Rydzik who just couldn't make it due to poor health. John Kennis & Paul Link captured the League Championship over Jim & Joe King tonight taking all four points in the process. Their other partner Lippy led them to the brink, but "Master" Link who is more comfortable on a rink, didn't really stink and that caused the Kings to sink.....ya think that led the King's to drink? Well all four had to walk because there were no carts let out due to the monsoon that hit all weekend but at least the season is now over! See you all on October 24th. So far only about 5 out of our 65 men could not make the year-end party, should be a good time. We will be inviting the four legends that our divisions were named after; Archie Hood, Joe Rydzik, Joe Bernas and Chuck Ramsay to the party. Hope they all can make it down to the club.
