Jim King fired a 39 as he and Mark Dotterweich dethrowned Andy Clemen and Phil Prohaska taking a 3-1/2 to 1/2 win last night in the semi-final playoff week. Paul Lipinoga and John Kennis prevailed over Tom Zinni & Keith Miranto 2-1/2 to 1-1/2 in the other match. That sets up the final next week. At last check Jim King was in need of a partner for next week as both his partners will be unavailable. Super floater Doug Olewnik may get the nod to play in the final. Meanwhile, John Kennis will be there but it was unsure if Paul Lippy or perhaps Paul Link will be inserted in to try to help win the championship for their team.....for the rest of us all we have left is the season end party scheduled for MONDAY NIGHT Oct. 24th starting at 6pm at the Third Ward Club.....

Andy Clemen and Phil Prohaska took care of punching their ticket to the final four with a 3-1/2 point take of John Kennis & Paul Link in the final week of the regular season. Moose & Shane could only muster 2-1/2 over Snake & Tuba who played the spoilers role. That sets the stage for the playoff match-ups next week as the defending champs Phil-Andy-Bronco with the most points play Jim King-Dotts-Joe King who had the least points of the division winnners.....The other match will have Keek-Zin-Jacc team vs. Lip-Link-Kennis...All others can meet around 4:30, match up and play just for the hell of it...it's a long winter, might just as well if the weather cooperates....WEEK 19 Medalist was Keith Hoppel with a 39...Mike Kwarciany had his first 2 birds of the year....Dougy Olewnick had a pair of birds as well on his way to a 40

3 Divisions are wrapped up but the defending champs Bronco Andy & Phil have clawed their way back into a tie in the JOE BERNAS division with Moose Shane & Brett with just one week of League play left for this year. Next week Bronco & Phil or Andy will have to contend with CHUCK RAMSAY division champs Lip, John & Linkster while Snake & Tuba provide the competition for Moose Shane or Brett. In case of a divisional tie, the defending champs will advance by virtue of their early season skunk of Moose's team. The following week the top scoring divisional champs will face the lowest scoring division champ and the 2nd & 3rd highest teams will square off...got it? The final match is scheduled for Oct. 3rd........Meanwhile the League-End Party committee of Bronco, Phil & Andy have set October 24th a Monday night for the party with a 4 hour open bar slated to start at 6 pm followed by a yet-to-be-determined menu of goodies....All league members are invited to attend but all we ask is you confirm your intent to attend via the email you were sent or by marking next week's score card with a yay or nay for all your team members...Thanks in advance to those who already did so.
